The Colorado State Board Barber Practical Exam gets a lot Post Barber School Students pretty nervous.  I’m not gonna lie, I was one of those students. The amount of procedures that have to be done in the State of Colorado is quite a bit, in order to pass the practical portion of the exams.

Each state has different set of rules, procedures and requirements.  Check with your State Board to see what needs to be done for your Barber Practical Exam

A couple of friends of mine, Moises Juarez and Ubaldo Aguilera, we created this list here of the exact items we took to the State Board Test, to help you prepare your Tote, when you decide to head out and take your Colorado State Barber Practical Exam.  This list, pictures, and descriptions are exactly the things that we took in our tote to the Practical Exam.

I tested March 18th 2019, 5 years after completing the Barbering Course at Trinidad State Junior College.  Quite a bit later but. . . . . .

I PASSED the exam!  It felt great.  This list will help you Pass yours too  In each bag I always had a few extra combs, neck strips, and towels.  I figured, what if I drop one of my combs or fling it across the room because I would be so nervous, therefore having a few extra in hand would help greatly, and they did.

I wish you the best of luck with your Colorado State Barber Practical Exam when you decide to take it, and I hope this Kit List will help you GREATLY to achieve the success all of us Barbers are looking for.

As always, let me know in the comments section below if your kit In Colorado, was the same, or how it was different.  Contact me through the About Us page to find my direct Email if you have further questions.  Thanks Guys, and I hope you do Great!

ACTUAL TOTE USED FOR MY EXAM

Actual TOTE

Use something half the size of this.   I had alot of trouble getting it under my section of the table where I tested.

It was sticking out half way therefore, I took away half of my moving around working space for the exam.

I only used half of the walking space to move around my doll.  It made it that much harder.  I suggest getting a tote that is half this size.
